North Scottsdale has steakhouses and Italian rooms to spare and, for years, had nowhere serious to eat fish. Pescada fixed that on North Pima Road near DC Ranch: a polished raw bar and seafood room with craft cocktails, and none of the resort-property markup.
Build the meal on ice first — oysters and a cold platter — before you open the entrée page. The cocktail list is designed to keep up with briny things.
When to go: book ahead for prime dinner slots, because the raw bar seats go first. An earlier reservation is the easier play.
