Plenty of breweries are a taproom with a food truck parked out back. Fate is the other kind: an 11,000-square-foot brewpub on south Scottsdale Road with Great American Beer Festival medals and a real scratch kitchen, open since 2015 and still the neighborhood’s default meeting spot.
The wood-fired pizza is the order — blistered, shareable, built for a second round. The beer traveled about fifty feet to reach you, which is the whole argument for a brewpub.
When to go: weeknights or weekend afternoons, garage doors open and no wait. Friday and Saturday nights, the whole neighborhood has the same idea.
