Scottsdale’s oldest tavern has been pouring under the same family since 1959, opens at 6:00 AM, closes at 2:00 AM, and has never upgraded anything except the wattage. Bikers, golfers and executives share the patio on equal terms, which is more than most of Old Town can say.
Order simply: cheap cold beer, honest pours, no mixology discourse. Dinner is the neighborhood’s job; the Coach House handles before and after.
When to go: December, when thousands of Christmas lights swallow the building. Otherwise it’s the traditional last stop of the night, or a very strange and very good morning beer.
